Slayer & AFK Training

Masters, tasks, tickets, AFK zone rules, AFK tickets, and when to use each system.

Two systems keep you progressing every day: Slayer for active combat goals with tickets and Season Pass XP, and AFK for low-attention ticket farming.

How Slayer works (step by step)

  1. Type ::slayer to teleport to the Slayer master area.
  2. Talk to / open the Slayer interface to get a task (assign / reset options + shop).
  3. Masters unlock by Slayer level: Easy (1+) → Medium (40+) → Hard (75+) → Elite (92+) → Special (99).
  4. Tasks prefer monsters you have already killed before (more than one prior kill). Brand-new players often get an Easy Blurite Goblin starter task.
  5. Kill the assigned amount. Completing a task grants Slayer XP, Slayer tickets, streak progress, chance at Slayer caskets/chests, and Season Pass XP.
  6. Spend tickets/points in the Slayer Shop. Upgrade Slayer helmets with gems + tickets over time.

Slayer mix rooms (grouped monster sets) are also reachable through the teleport interface when you want focused task areas.

Reset tokens
If you need to skip a bad task, use the reset option / reset token flow in the Slayer UI when available.

How AFK works (step by step)

  1. Type ::afk to enter the AFK zone.
  2. Mine AFK rocks and/or use AFK skilling spots (thieving stalls can also drop AFK tickets).
  3. Going idle in the AFK zone also ticks AFK ticket rewards over time (Wealth Magnet perk can increase tickets).
  4. Spend AFK tickets in the AFK Shop.

AFK rules you must know

  • One account per IP in the AFK zone — a second account gets kicked home.
  • Logging in/out while inside AFK can move you home — re-enter with ::afk.
  • Moving, chatting, or interacting can clear the idle AFK flag (ticket timer behaviour).
  • Third-party bots are not allowed — use the intended AFK content only.

When to use each

  • 30+ focused minutes: Slayer + tower / world bosses / instances + collection log
  • Busy / multitasking: ::afk for tickets and passive progress
  • Need Prayer: bury bones while combat training, or buy bones with starter tokens
  • Need Season Pass XP fast: combine kills + Slayer completions + voting
  • World events up: ::koth, ::globaltasks, ::goldrush, globals, or ::tax instead of a random grind
  • Have spare items: ::merchant daily contracts for Guild Tokens
